It seems like the older I get, the more "domestic" things I want to do. I think it all started with getting a sewing machine for my birthday this last year. I've already made 1 baby quilt (for my first nephew coming in April) and working on 3 others. Then I went on a baking stretch were I was baking something every night. Since I live alone, others definitely reaped the benefits...Karl & Christi, Steve & his co-workers.
Then I get the strange idea that I want to make my own freezer jam. So last night I tried it. It was super easy! They've been able to simplify how to make it over the years. I won't know until tonight how it turned out since you have to let it set for 24 hours. Luckily, the recipe only made 3 small containers...so if it's not great...I didn't waste. If it's good...I'll know to double the batch. =)

Look at you!!! Your becoming very creative, and thanks for sharing your talents with us.
I'm still waiting for the baking talents to be shared with us.. remember the family members that live closest to you. :) You're so cute and domestic, that's why we keep you around.
Your are so cute! I love how you tied raffia on your jars of jam. So how did it turn out? I found your blog from Candace's and I just started my own so you will have to check it out and then maybe we can stay in touch better. I have never been very good at it! Write me back and let me know how things are! kk1920@aol.com
I'm here to say the jam is amazing. I'm finally reaping the benefits of Leslie's domestic talents. Thanks so much. I've had it three times today!! I LOVE IT!!!
Hey!! You are so funny. I remember when I had time to do things that interested me. Good job on making jam - the first time I made it I couldn't believe how much sugar was in it. It king of grossed me out, but it tastes so good. Nothing beats homemade jam or ice cream.
Thank you for the jam! It is awesome! Josiah really liked it too!
